One important change agreed was to allow an increase in our fees.

There has been only 1 price increase in the last 14 years.

Small increases in membership fees have been absorbed by the club. A large increase in insurance was also covered in 2000/2001.
Mat fees were increased by 50% when we moved from the Squash club to Darwin, but the cost to the club actually increased by 66%.
Successive price rises by Mytime, has added a further 28% in the last three years.
In Jan 2007 Bromley Mytime are raising the hire costs by another 8%.

Changes to fees from 1st January 2007. Annual subscriptions: Includes:- Insurance and National Association membership
Increases from £6 to £9 for renewals.
Increases from £9 to £15 for First time membership.
(This will include an embroidered club badge worth £3 and a hard-back book)
Weekly session fees:
Covers increased costs in Hall Hire, Instructors insurance and CRB checks.

Wed 7:00 to 8:00 Juvenile session increases from £1.50 to £2.00
Wed 8:00 to 9:30 Junior session increases from £2.00 to £2.50
Wed 8:00 to 9:30 Senior session increases from £2.50 to £3.00

Sat 3:30 to 5:00 Mixed ability session increases from £2.00 to £2.50

Grading Fees:

This covers the cost of hall hire, certificates, belts and tabs.

We remain a non-profit making club. Any excesses will continue to be used to enhance the clubs facilities or pay for other training materials.

A good start for the Saturday club.
The aim was to encourage all those that have other commitments on Wednesday nights, for those that find the evening sessions run too late in term time and for those that would like to practice twice a week to have another opportunity. The last Saturday session before Christmas will be on 16th December.

Please bring a small drink as we have a small break during these sessions.
We have booked another 10 week session starting 13th January.
We do not run in the holidays so please use the Events tab to check when the club runs. from 3:30pm to 5pm. Mixed age group.

Consideration has been taken for their Attendance, Attitude and Achievements at all of our recent events. Both students have been helping others as well as striving for their own improvements. A real credit to the club and an excellent example for others. They have easily demonstrated The Three A's required. Will it be you next time??

The final event in the busy summer season finished brilliantly at the Biggin Hill festival. Well done to everyone involved.
(Pictures and some video will be added very soon...promise)
This was our sixth year attending local events with our popular display team. Next year must be even better and selections will start in the Winter with the first practice day much earlier on in the new year.

We have booked to use the Squash Club for this initial practice session on the actual display mats.
The team needs a mix of ages and abilities to act as a show case for the club.
We are looking to develop more set pieces, self defence, Kata and to raise the tempo of some of the other parts of the display.

All videos and pictures from these events gratefully received and what I have will be posted to the Website

Other options also being planned. Let us know if you are interested.
If you don't have a club badge, please see Sensei Bob as soon as possible.
